World Book Day – March 2017 – World Book Week

Ravenor’s Reading Displays – World Book Week

This year, all of the year groups selected a book that they wanted to study for World Book Week. The books selected included:

  • Kipper’s Birthday by Mike Inkpen
  • The Jolly Postman and Other People’s Letters by Janet and allan Ahlberg
  • The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch by Ronda and David Armitage
  • Tom and the Island of Dinosaurs by Ian Beck
  • The Green Ship by Quentin Blake
  • Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters by John Steptoe
  • Snow White in New York by Fiona French
  • Dark Tales from the Woods by Daniel Morden

Each class then produced a display to show the learning that the children had participated in during the week. Many of the displays have interactive elements which make the audience think and keep them engaged. Take a look at the displays that reflect the books each year group looked at. Hopefully these displays will inspire you to read the books that our children read and enjoyed.
